A small but obvious peninsula of East Malaysia sandwiched by the famous Thailand and Singapore at the north and south respectively. On the west, it shares the 3rd biggest island of the world, the Borneo, with Indonesia and Brunei. According to Lonely Planet, both East and West Malaysia often gets criticised as being mild in comparison with its grittier neighbours, Thailand and Indonesia when listing Malaysia as “The Top 10 Countries for 2010 “.

It seems tasteless compared to other South East Asian countries like Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia, Myanmar and Vietnam due to its nature as one of the world’s fast growing country. However, abundance of unseen Malaysia beauty awaits the traveler from around the world. The modernization of the country does not fully affect the people at the rural area to attach themselves with the traditional way of living and custom.

Apart of experiencing the traditional way of ‘kampung’ life, in Malaysia, you can still pamper yourself at the not-over-crowded white sandy beaches, trekking and hiking in the 200-million years rain-forest, stay at the top of the mountain and loitering in the UNESCO’s world heritage cities.

While troubles are few, visiting Malaysia lets you leap into the jaws of one of the most interesting parts of Southeast Asia’s roaring cultural smorgasbord – and not be too worried about it. Cheap connections to Europe and great exchange rates mean that you won’t get eaten up by your wallet either.

More than 30 ethnic groups of Malaysian are always welcome the visitors to Malaysia.

SELAMAT DATANG. Welcome :)
